MAKING CONNECTIONS -is a large modern expressionist original painting. Many layers of interesting marks, scrapes, and drips make up this piece. No 'plan' was in place for this artwork, I created it without any intended result. This takes me to a more intuitive space when I work and it is exciting to see the end result because I don't know what it will be. I feel this painting is about making deeper connections. Real connection is a deep psychological need in every persons life and I believe our society is very lacking in true connection at this time. On the surface yes we are connected by technology, but really we are truly connected at all? Let this painting remind you that feeling, heart and people are what really matters in life.
