With its interesting puzzle-like shapes and metallic elements Happy Thoughts is a huge upbeat acrylic abstract painting sure to bring a sense of fun and energy to your home or office.
I started with a selected color palette - a mix of neutrals, pastels and pops of more brighter, bolder tones. I had no other plan except to lay down layers of colors and shapes in random geometric and organic shapes. Look closely... can you see animals, faces and quirky little cartoon-like characters? I can, but I didn’t plan them, they just ‘appeared’.
Happy Thoughts is a massive 183cm x 122cm in size. Painted in acrylic on a deep edged stretched canvas. The sides are painted mid grey and the painting is sealed.
